Need help replacing canoe seat

Hello folks. Anyone have any experience dealing with Pelican products? I need to replace the rear seat for the Bayou 160 canoe. So far, contact directly with the company has been nothing but frustrating. The internet offers little more than a phone number and service email address, both of which have proven useless so far. They have an order form for canoe accessories and parts list to order but the part I need is not listed on the form. Hell, anybody have one of these canoes/seats they can spare? The front and rear seat are the same (the middle is much larger). Any help here is appreciated. I am just about to resort to engineering some kind of impromptu device to hold the seat up but I really don’t want to drill holes in the canoe to do it. Thanks in advance.

Don’t know if this will help but check out their site:

I recently added a center web seat and used the Sawyer seat hanger hardware. Had to drill through the tops of the gunwales but no big deal. One thing is that because of my size, a big guy, I am going to add a keel brace for the seat.

Shoot the folks at Rutabaga an email. I will bet they can help you.
