Venison Chili
From the kitchen of Richard Taylor

    One (1) lb ground venison (double or triple the recipe as desired for larger groups

    One (1) green pepper chopped

    One (1) onion chopped

    Three (3) garlic cloves crushed

    One (1) can (Bush's) "Chili Magic Chili Starter" - We use the mild variety and it has some beans in it too

    One (1) can (Del Monte) "Diced Tomatoes w/ Zesty Mild Green Chilies"

    One (1) can (Kroger) Mushrooms - pieces & stems

Combine onion, green pepper and garlic and sauté' until onions fairly well done; add venison burger and stir till it's brown and well crumbled; add chili starter, mushrooms and tomatoes and stir till well mixed. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low, cover pot and simmer for 25 minutes. Ten minutes before it's done add macaroni if desired. We like rice and sometimes noodles with it instead of the rice.
