Get A Grip On Your Reamer

Capt. Paul
By Capt. Paul Darby

When making cork reamers, before gluing the grit on, place a piece of foam on the handle end. This makes a much nicer handle and tool to use. Don't twist the reamers more than necessary as this can lead to premature wear, and may imbed grit in the cork - leaving scratches on blank (weakening it) during the fitting process.
