Bubbles in rod finish

By Norm Goheen

I have taught rod building classes for the past 20 years or so in conjunction with the Dallas Flyfishers. I found, quite by accident, that you can dissipate bubbles in your two part epoxy by breathing on the mixture after you have placed the mixture on a flat surface.

I am not sure if it is the gin on my breath or the CO2 or the warmth, but it really works. Give it a try. ~ Norm
