ROD BUILDING TIPS
Goof-Proof Guide Board

Capt. Paul
By Capt. Paul Darby

When selecting guides for rod building, use a piece of corrugated cardboard with small holes punched and numbered by size. Put the guides in order of placement on the rod. This will help keep sizes from being mixed up and/or misplaced when working with the guides, (such as when grinding or filing the guide feet). ~ Capt. Paul (aka qrrfish1)
