After spending all day yesterday with cleanup after hurricane Ian, I thought I'd take a few moments at my fly tying desk to prepare for the fall/winter fishing season. I call these Baby Predator worms simply because they are tied with the Predator Worm material. I tie them on size 6 Mustad 90-degree jig hooks that I have crimped a small-sized split shot to the 90-degree bend and glue it in place. I paint the heads with nail polish and add eyes (or not) and give the head a coat of two-part epoxy for durability. While I tied these for LM bass here in Central Florida, I'm sure that they would work equally well for Small Mouth bass as well as other species. Super simple to tie, easy to cast, and very effective.
