Default WV trout fishing questions - PLEASE!

It has been way TOO LONG since I have been able to wet a line...long story short, my son wants to take us on a trip from MD to WV to do some trout fishing in early September. Any guidance here?
He sent me something about the Somersville area... Going to devote at least three days to fishing. Any recommendations? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Lots of great fishing opportunities in WVA. Check out the link below for a map from the WVA DNR regrading trout fishing opportunities. Most of the trout fishing waters are located in the eastern part of the state. The area around Elkins is loaded with a variety of choices for quality trout fishing. August and September are tough times of the year but if the water conditions are right you should have no problem finding fishable waters.

Thanks for the insight. Been looking at some other interactive maps as well. As you mentioned, the eastern part of the state seems to have more offerings. Hopefully the streams will be recharged. Now just access points. Hope to post some positive results.
