    I don't know if I had a wierd one or something, But I did remove the pawl, because the reel was so loud.


    It made it a bit looser but the reel is totally silent. I like very quiet reels.

    Yep, I have the exact same model and it is the same way. Not very fine tuneable and it easily slips out of adjustment with one bump of the finger.
