Yes, the image is from DePuy's Spring Creek just above the house pond. I have been associated with the DePuy/Smith family for many years and I have unlimited access to the property and the creek. Unfortunately with the Ladyfisher's health problems the last few months I have not spent much time at the creek. This image was taken about 3 years ago in early October before we left for Arizona. Great fall Baetis hatch and I played with some very nice trout for several days that fall.

I keep trying to ask if the current beautiful photo on the home page of FAOL is a scene from DePuy's Spring Creek. I know lots of streams look alike, but it sure looks like DePuy's????

AND,at least SOME comment of recognition to the folks that arrange the PAFI. I have NEVER seen even a blurb about their efforts. Washing your (FAOL's) hands of any potential responsibility/ liability is not enough.
But , then again, all at risk of telling you how to run your business.

At risk of telling you how to run your "business", this MIFI issue, once was a GREAT draw for new members. The fishing SUCKED but that;s not what it's/was about. I know you and Deanna cannot attend but at LEAST post a few "come and enjoy the BS" comments so that it may raise SOME enthusiasm. I and my wife have been to a few but as YOUR, (FAOL'S) even remote intertest waned, so have ours. Where the "i'll be there" list is posted is not as important as at LEAST some direct recognition by YOU as to the fact that there IS planned a MIFI and a GREAT time will be had by all who attend.

Thanks. I will get the box mailed out tomorrow before I start to load up the trailer for our trip. You should receive it sometime next week. There is a bunch of thread, tinsel, hooks from Dan Bailey's, two skeins of chenille from my nephew, some furs and misc. items. [They are misc. because I don't remember everything I tossed in there] Lord willing we will get more stuff next year.
